In 1969, Rei Kawakubo founded Comme des Garcon. With a background in textiles, her unique silhouettes give CDG its signature aesthetic across eight diffusion labels. The PLAY line, launched in 2002 is recognizable by its heart-shaped logo designed by Filip Pagowski.
